The hardest things are always said last… ( going on hiatus ).

As I push the 100 and something blog post threshold I feel myself losing interest. Perhaps it has a little to do with how hectic/busy my rl has gotten since this semester’s began. Like for example, I took pictures last week and I am not entirely satisfied with them but, I figured to achieve the ‘looks’ I want, I’d need to dedicate more time to the process… more time, which, I certainly don’t have.

So, what’s the basis of all this? Is it a subtle hint into the near future? Maybe… because, as it is this year will be an eventful one. I am graduating in the summer and making plans for grad school or pursuing a second degree. I’ll be leaning towards the latter but, I am certain my performance by the end of this semester will be the defining factor all around.

Oh, and not to mention, I’ll be moving in less than a month. Now, not to put my entire reallife out there because, I’ve always strived to maintain a certain amount of anonymity but, I think it is important everyone who cares understands the reasons behind my prolonged absences hence! the explanation…out of respect mostly… Because, I just think it’s rude to disappear without a word and not to the mention, the speculations that might arise as some people have no problem blatantly impersonating others ( e.g the never ending copybot crisis and the things in between) ~ of course, that’s another story for another blog post.

Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed my short ado about absences!. When I am officially back, you’ll be the first to know!

This look was inspired by Lelutka’s latest group gift, this adorable hat hair which I paired with a nautical jacket and a flirty skirt. I have a major thing for socks with suspenders, I think these are one of the cutest items I own and they add a certain playful edge to almost any item I wear, love em!. Also, this skirt is probably one of my favorite items by blow-up. I would have turned around and taken some shots of the back of the skirt but, I’m pretty sure you can’t handle the “hotness” teehehe. I might be venturing into an unknown abyss with this post but, bare with me, I am only a blogger and the only thing that really catches my eye, if anything, is fashion and great style. I appreciate uniqueness, whichever community it is from. Which is why today you get to see a different side of my experience in the secondlife fashion community, proundly presented by me and of course sponsored by *{ SeVered GarDeN }*! Today, we’ll talk about Gor. Yeah, you read that right!, go back and read it over again if you’d like. As, some of you know, there is a large community of Gorean Roleplayers in secondlife. Just type the word “gor” in search and viola! a large collection comes up ( please,do this ONLY if you are over 18, as all gorean sims are rated R or NSFW!) Here’s a list of some pretty good ones in no particular order, depending on the kind of roleplay you are seeking ( but, that’s another story, which is not necessarily ment for this post as I refuse to touch on the on-going saga in gorean roleplay). If you are unfamiliar with Gorean roleplay you should probably wear an observer tag before you venture there, depending on how much you can gather within a few days or more, they might let you in.

How did I come about all this information you might ask?, well, for the past few months I have been trying my hand at various roleplay sims. Recently I gave gor another shot, after a day or two I landed myself in a group! with the Ghost Outlaws as a “kajira” also known as a slave. No, it is nothing like the slavery of old which most of us have learned about in school and such. Nor does it have too many similiarities to bdsm as most of secondlife assumes. It’s quite the contrary which I have discovered over the past couple of weeks.

Anyway, all this aside, my favorite pasttime was-you guessed it! “dressing up!!“. Kajirae’s are required to dress appealingly or perhaps raunchy. I will be keeping things a little polite for this post. Enjoy!.

Express yourself…

This a boring story about my eyebrows!. It started off with a single obsession;matching eyebrows. Somehow, it just doesn’t look right if your hairline doesnt match your eyebrows. This is a personal pet pev of mine. So, with the extended capabilities of viewer 2 my quest for matching brows began.

Here’s a pictorial guide and I will narrate each picture accordingly.

1. I started with this skin [ Miranova by unBra ]. I loved the body details especially how realistic the boobs were!  As I had decided to suddenly go blonde, the daunting issue of; unmatching brows came up. Unfortunately, the creator doesn’t do brow bases just yet. Pity.

2. I considered Laq’s eyebrow and hairbase combination I had used on my main character‘s skin. That clearly didn’t blend in so well as it was actually meant for a Laq skin and nothing else.

3. As I moved my search toward the unknown, I tried marketplace and found these brows done by a creator I will not mention here . There is obviously nothing to be said here.You can easily judge this one for yourselves. Be careful what you purchase on marketplace!

4. Then I considered buying a laq skin again ( the same skin my main character wears). Eh, too similiar.

5. It wasn’t until a friend dragged me to curio where I picked up this skin pack [ The Lustre pack with makeup in Patina ] You can imagine my surprise when I discovered that curio had eyebrow bases as well.

This cold air is rather comforting…

While some people would prefer staring out at the snow as it falls I prefer playing in it, outside. I may not be always prepared but what the heck- depending on how much fun you are having you’ll eventually forget how cold it really is.

Sometimes, you must go out in the cold, get your fingerbits frostbitten to find out what is truly out there standing in the cold awaiting your tender gaze. Of course I am not referring to anything “literal” per say.
