The hardest things are always said last… ( going on hiatus ).

As I push the 100 and something blog post threshold I feel myself losing interest. Perhaps it has a little to do with how hectic/busy my rl has gotten since this semester’s began. Like for example, I took pictures last week and I am not entirely satisfied with them but, I figured to achieve the ‘looks’ I want, I’d need to dedicate more time to the process… more time, which, I certainly don’t have.

So, what’s the basis of all this? Is it a subtle hint into the near future? Maybe… because, as it is this year will be an eventful one. I am graduating in the summer and making plans for grad school or pursuing a second degree. I’ll be leaning towards the latter but, I am certain my performance by the end of this semester will be the defining factor all around.

Oh, and not to mention, I’ll be moving in less than a month. Now, not to put my entire reallife out there because, I’ve always strived to maintain a certain amount of anonymity but, I think it is important everyone who cares understands the reasons behind my prolonged absences hence! the explanation…out of respect mostly… Because, I just think it’s rude to disappear without a word and not to the mention, the speculations that might arise as some people have no problem blatantly impersonating others ( e.g the never ending copybot crisis and the things in between) ~ of course, that’s another story for another blog post.

Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed my short ado about absences!. When I am officially back, you’ll be the first to know!

{L’amant} may be another up and rising store name you’ll be hearing much about on the grid soon. I was absolutely honored when Yannick [Yannick568.Sands] contacted me in world to visit a private showing of his items which will be debuting on August 1st. I bought one of his avant-garde looking pieces as well as this lovely blue skirt which will be set out as the grand opening group gift for the store. ( still available )

Expect a lot of sculpts, hot vintage dresses and lots of glamor. I’m already excited and can’t wait to see what the entire collection will look like.

The skirt which is the group gift is honestly well made. I tend to shy away from sculpted skirts because, I have jumpy animations and sometimes depending on the item it looks out of place. So here I decided to make a static pose for this skirt because it reminds me so much of pageant competition skirts ( I’ve been watching too many pageant show lately lol ). I hope you like it. Look #3 at this point I literally threw a bunch of stuff together and took a picture. What do you think?. I like this skirt from Narwhal but, because it’s a prim skirt I find it extremely hard to; 1, adjust 2, wear it with any decent jumpy animation overrider. Prim skirts can be very pretty but, I think sometimes designers should keep in mind that some avatars tend to move around a lot. Maybe an alpha layer would have made this skirt all the more wearable? Who knows? *shrugs*. Enjoy.

I might be venturing into an unknown abyss with this post but, bare with me, I am only a blogger and the only thing that really catches my eye, if anything, is fashion and great style. I appreciate uniqueness, whichever community it is from. Which is why today you get to see a different side of my experience in the secondlife fashion community, proundly presented by me and of course sponsored by *{ SeVered GarDeN }*! Today, we’ll talk about Gor. Yeah, you read that right!, go back and read it over again if you’d like. As, some of you know, there is a large community of Gorean Roleplayers in secondlife. Just type the word “gor” in search and viola! a large collection comes up ( please,do this ONLY if you are over 18, as all gorean sims are rated R or NSFW!) Here’s a list of some pretty good ones in no particular order, depending on the kind of roleplay you are seeking ( but, that’s another story, which is not necessarily ment for this post as I refuse to touch on the on-going saga in gorean roleplay). How did I come about all this information you might ask?, well, for the past few months I have been trying my hand at various roleplay sims. Recently I gave gor another shot, after a day or two I landed myself in a group! with the Ghost Outlaws as a “kajira” also known as a slave. No, it is nothing like the slavery of old which most of us have learned about in school and such. Nor does it have too many similiarities to bdsm as most of secondlife assumes. It’s quite the contrary which I have discovered over the past couple of weeks.

Anyway, all this aside, my favorite pasttime was-you guessed it! “dressing up!!“. Kajirae’s are required to dress appealingly or perhaps raunchy. I will be keeping things a little polite for this post. Enjoy!.

Hello world,
I am a little sad today. I lost a good friend. Wanna know how? Oh sure, I’ll be more than happy to explain. His girlfriend’s insecurities. Oh, what? you thought there was more to my explanation? Here’s something to think about, and what saddens me above all. If you feel you have the right to keep a man under “lock and key” then it’s not him, it’s you. Fact of the matter is if you cannot trust your man, then there is no use being in a relationship with him. In my defense, I am not a home wrecker. I respect boundaries, all my friends know this. They are comfortable bringing their men around me because they trust me and know my character. Anyway, enough of this, I refuse to be stressed, thanks for letting me vent.

Also, I updated my skin to the Vilda pack from Laq. I know you guys know how much I’ve been in love with the christmas pack she sent out to her subscribers. Well yesterday Wylah and I went on an impulse shopping trip and I thought i’d pick up Laq’s skin since I’ve always wanted it. Here’s the picture I took immediately after at her place.

I might get the Laq hair base packs just so I can switch it each time I switch my hair. But I’ll think about that first. hehe

I have noticed something. I’ve got a hard time switching up skins. And I’ve got a large collection. Maybe I’m just lazy but, I know I get too comfortable sometimes. So, what’s the longest you’ve stuck to one skin. How often do you switch skins?
