The hardest things are always said last… ( going on hiatus ).

As I push the 100 and something blog post threshold I feel myself losing interest. Perhaps it has a little to do with how hectic/busy my rl has gotten since this semester’s began. Like for example, I took pictures last week and I am not entirely satisfied with them but, I figured to achieve the ‘looks’ I want, I’d need to dedicate more time to the process… more time, which, I certainly don’t have.

So, what’s the basis of all this? Is it a subtle hint into the near future? Maybe… because, as it is this year will be an eventful one. I am graduating in the summer and making plans for grad school or pursuing a second degree. I’ll be leaning towards the latter but, I am certain my performance by the end of this semester will be the defining factor all around.

Oh, and not to mention, I’ll be moving in less than a month. Now, not to put my entire reallife out there because, I’ve always strived to maintain a certain amount of anonymity but, I think it is important everyone who cares understands the reasons behind my prolonged absences hence! the explanation…out of respect mostly… Because, I just think it’s rude to disappear without a word and not to the mention, the speculations that might arise as some people have no problem blatantly impersonating others ( e.g the never ending copybot crisis and the things in between) ~ of course, that’s another story for another blog post.

Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed my short ado about absences!. When I am officially back, you’ll be the first to know!

New year renovations and a shape!.

So, I spontaneously decided to tweak up my mini shop, Jumphearts, for the new year. As far as I can remember the last time I had done any major renovation was at least 8 months ago? So, I got tired of staring at the same old stuff and decided to get to work. Oh my goodness! almost a hundred hours later and some suggestions from Daphne and Tobias over at [HANDverk] I came up with this; taaadddaaaaa!. I found this gorgeous house at marketplace by Kessi Andretti creator behind Sweet Harmony. My parcel is on the low prim side so I had to compromise a lot and ended up modifying the house down to about 20 prims. Overall, I was going for simple look and I’m happy with the results. Besides, I go googoogahgah for shabby chic or vintage houses anyday!. Oh! While on the subject of houses check out these from Willow’s. I am not familiar with her designs but, ran across them after I had purchased my house from Sweet harmony already. Anyway, If you’re looking for extremely cheap ( I mean as low as 10L ),cute and low prim shabby chic houses Willow’s seems very promising!.

Anyway, here’s a shot of me grinning my head off after I had finished EVERYTHING!. Although there are still a few things I’d like to change I am pretty content with how it’s turned out.

Also, I finally went ahead and got one of PINKFUEL’s Elly skins. I had been obsessing over her lipgloss collection which you can’t buy individually! … I went ahead and invested in one of her skins. Surprisingly enough -or not- I fell in love with the skin and decided to whip up a shape!. So, here’s to shape 003! dedicated to Pinkfuel!. I hope you like it \o/ .

Let’s get it over and just get naked!.

I appreciate unique skins, the beautiful ones, the creepy, interesting, hand drawn and so on. Fact is, trying on skins and making shapes for that particular skin is fun!.I may not change skins often since there is something familiar about wearing the same skin everyday ( that of course is until i get tired of it ).

Anyway, so most of you have probably heard of the skin line Esuga by Eilfie Sugarplum. I discovered her flickr stream last year (2010) and was intrigued by her unique skins. At the time they were in early stages and she was still doing a lot of tweaking.

Long synopsis short she released another skin recently, named DASH inspired by the gorgeous actress Stacy Dash. I took one look at those lips and RAN over to her store to pick them up. I can positively say I love this skin!. The lips are just completely adorable and the entire skin appears to be seamless. I do however wish the bottom eyeliner was on the eyeline and not outside of because, it made adjusting the eyes a bit of a challenge.

Anyway, because I liked this skin so much I went ahead and created a shape for it!. I have set the shape out at Jumphearts ( the blog shop ).

Finally a shape!.

I visited the dressing room yesterday and noticed the lien skin by atomic set out for sale in the buff skintone and my heart leaped!. Her skins are awesome!. So I decided to make a shape for that skin and set it out here. The shape is quite similar to my main shape except for minor tweaks here and there.

I have included a styling card with a clear description of what I was wearing including landmarks to each location. I also made various options such as; an option for lipsticks ( if you are big on wearing lipstick layers ), an option for ears ( if you wear prim ears ), another option for skirts ( If you wear sl’s default skirt layers ). While these options are not modifiable I have however included a modifiable shape in there for those who prefer to customize their own stuff. And remember, remember, always make a copy before you alter your new shape!.

I might be venturing into an unknown abyss with this post but, bare with me, I am only a blogger and the only thing that really catches my eye, if anything, is fashion and great style. I appreciate uniqueness, whichever community it is from. Which is why today you get to see a different side of my experience in the secondlife fashion community, proundly presented by me and of course sponsored by *{ SeVered GarDeN }*! Today, we’ll talk about Gor. Yeah, you read that right!, go back and read it over again if you’d like. As, some of you know, there is a large community of Gorean Roleplayers in secondlife. Just type the word “gor” in search and viola! a large collection comes up ( please,do this ONLY if you are over 18, as all gorean sims are rated R or NSFW!) Here’s a list of some pretty good ones in no particular order, depending on the kind of roleplay you are seeking ( but, that’s another story, which is not necessarily ment for this post as I refuse to touch on the on-going saga in gorean roleplay). How did I come about all this information you might ask?, well, for the past few months I have been trying my hand at various roleplay sims. Recently I gave gor another shot, after a day or two I landed myself in a group! with the Ghost Outlaws as a “kajira” also known as a slave. No, it is nothing like the slavery of old which most of us have learned about in school and such. Nor does it have too many similiarities to bdsm as most of secondlife assumes. It’s quite the contrary which I have discovered over the past couple of weeks.

Anyway, all this aside, my favorite pasttime was-you guessed it! “dressing up!!“. Kajirae’s are required to dress appealingly or perhaps raunchy. I will be keeping things a little polite for this post. Enjoy!.
