The hardest things are always said last… ( going on hiatus ).

As I push the 100 and something blog post threshold I feel myself losing interest. Perhaps it has a little to do with how hectic/busy my rl has gotten since this semester’s began. Like for example, I took pictures last week and I am not entirely satisfied with them but, I figured to achieve the ‘looks’ I want, I’d need to dedicate more time to the process… more time, which, I certainly don’t have.

So, what’s the basis of all this? Is it a subtle hint into the near future? Maybe… because, as it is this year will be an eventful one. I am graduating in the summer and making plans for grad school or pursuing a second degree. I’ll be leaning towards the latter but, I am certain my performance by the end of this semester will be the defining factor all around.

Oh, and not to mention, I’ll be moving in less than a month. Now, not to put my entire reallife out there because, I’ve always strived to maintain a certain amount of anonymity but, I think it is important everyone who cares understands the reasons behind my prolonged absences hence! the explanation…out of respect mostly… Because, I just think it’s rude to disappear without a word and not to the mention, the speculations that might arise as some people have no problem blatantly impersonating others ( e.g the never ending copybot crisis and the things in between) ~ of course, that’s another story for another blog post.

Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed my short ado about absences!. When I am officially back, you’ll be the first to know!

Ever seen or purchased something in reallife and you wished you had the same item in secondlife? Well, guess what? It could probably happen!. Thanks to an awesome project started by Abra Exonar on flickr. It is called, the SL Please Make this group. ( click the link to learn more about the group, designers are all welcome! ). There is also an in-world group, join it HERE.

So of course, yours truly had a request . I added this picture to the group. ( I found it randomly months ago and held on to it hoping that one day I’ll find out who the artist was. )

I even uploaded it into sl and had it on display at my home for a while. Here’s an old snapshot of me posing with my cat Bella and the picture in the background.

Anyway, so long story short after posting it to the group, designer Mae Liamano creator of ( love )  decided to give it a shot. And, *heavenly bells* this is what it turned out like. Can you say gorgeous?

It should be officially released by tomorrow ( i.e: August 09 ). *Sighs* , who knew hair dreams could come true? * wipes off a tear *. Thank you so much, Mae Liamano. *sniffs some more *

It comes with a feathered piece which is separate from the hair and another version without bangs ( I am posing with the bangs version because that was my favorite ). There is also a HUD for the fatpack which has a wide range of colors. I really like how the pigtails turned out though I do wish there were more wisps, either way, Mae has done an altogether great job on the entire hair.

{L’amant} may be another up and rising store name you’ll be hearing much about on the grid soon. I was absolutely honored when Yannick [Yannick568.Sands] contacted me in world to visit a private showing of his items which will be debuting on August 1st. I bought one of his avant-garde looking pieces as well as this lovely blue skirt which will be set out as the grand opening group gift for the store. ( still available )

Expect a lot of sculpts, hot vintage dresses and lots of glamor. I’m already excited and can’t wait to see what the entire collection will look like.

The skirt which is the group gift is honestly well made. I tend to shy away from sculpted skirts because, I have jumpy animations and sometimes depending on the item it looks out of place. So here I decided to make a static pose for this skirt because it reminds me so much of pageant competition skirts ( I’ve been watching too many pageant show lately lol ). I hope you like it. Hey everyone, I got these lip glosses from Rozena. I didn’t get every single color but, just the colors I liked the most. I am a fan of pink or peachy colors and of course the occasional glossy black.

I was checking out colemarie’s tumblr and saw a video she shared, which I’ve being playing on repeat almost all day :O ;

And the lipgloss the character is wearing reminded me of Rozena’s latest release. I am a big fan of the heavy on glossed up looks. So yummy! isn’t it?

Oh, and I find that modifying your shape’s lips for the teeth options might be a great idea to get the right look.

I was sorting though my inventory today and came across this old subscriber’s gift from Rozena, the Molan Molan Lip colors. I know blogging about old gifts is pointless especially since they are all gone by now and noone will be able to get them but, before you start ranting and screaming your head off, there’s a point to this.

Lately, I’ve been particularly stingy about my makeup choices and which brand of makeup I choose to hoard. I think it’s probably time to explore other prospectives, test the waters, see what’s out there, you know? This is where Rozena comes in. Although I’m not particularly crazy about this gift set she sent out to her subscribers the vinrose color caught my attention.

*Shrugs* who knows, you might be seeing more makeup colors/styles on me from Rozena in the near future… we’ll see.
