The hardest things are always said last… ( going on hiatus ).

As I push the 100 and something blog post threshold I feel myself losing interest. Perhaps it has a little to do with how hectic/busy my rl has gotten since this semester’s began. Like for example, I took pictures last week and I am not entirely satisfied with them but, I figured to achieve the ‘looks’ I want, I’d need to dedicate more time to the process… more time, which, I certainly don’t have.

So, what’s the basis of all this? Is it a subtle hint into the near future? Maybe… because, as it is this year will be an eventful one. I am graduating in the summer and making plans for grad school or pursuing a second degree. I’ll be leaning towards the latter but, I am certain my performance by the end of this semester will be the defining factor all around.

Oh, and not to mention, I’ll be moving in less than a month. Now, not to put my entire reallife out there because, I’ve always strived to maintain a certain amount of anonymity but, I think it is important everyone who cares understands the reasons behind my prolonged absences hence! the explanation…out of respect mostly… Because, I just think it’s rude to disappear without a word and not to the mention, the speculations that might arise as some people have no problem blatantly impersonating others ( e.g the never ending copybot crisis and the things in between) ~ of course, that’s another story for another blog post.

Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed my short ado about absences!. When I am officially back, you’ll be the first to know!

I find character sheets so interesting. You could kinda figure this post was inspired by one. I’m pretty excited about that wreath of flowers Severed Garden created with this piece including the bow to match which is hosted at LR weapons ( which I literally ran over to get since I’ve been looking for the longest). Flowers and Roleplay.

I have a thing for roleplay just as much as I have a thing for shopping. I think it’s the dressing up part I like. I apologize if all this comes off as a bit shallow and superficial but, really think about it. If we wore the same clothes everyday in sl then there will be no point to anything at all will there?… hmmm.

Today, I threw on this outfit from May Soul ( who is one of the “go tos” for roleplay items/sets ). I added on some mud from severed garden because, face it, looking like you’ve taken a good shower isn’t the THING these days. And of course these shoes from Slink do I even need to add how impressed I am with my new outfit?

Anyway, I’ll be running around gor as a she-urt! a new role I’ve decided to tackle, see you around and catch me if you can! hopefully my jar of bees doesn’t get to your face first! HA-HA-HA!

I might be venturing into an unknown abyss with this post but, bare with me, I am only a blogger and the only thing that really catches my eye, if anything, is fashion and great style. I appreciate uniqueness, whichever community it is from. Which is why today you get to see a different side of my experience in the secondlife fashion community, proundly presented by me and of course sponsored by *{ SeVered GarDeN }*! Today, we’ll talk about Gor. Yeah, you read that right!, go back and read it over again if you’d like. As, some of you know, there is a large community of Gorean Roleplayers in secondlife. Just type the word “gor” in search and viola! a large collection comes up ( please,do this ONLY if you are over 18, as all gorean sims are rated R or NSFW!) Here’s a list of some pretty good ones in no particular order, depending on the kind of roleplay you are seeking ( but, that’s another story, which is not necessarily ment for this post as I refuse to touch on the on-going saga in gorean roleplay). If you are unfamiliar with Gorean roleplay you should probably wear an observer tag before you venture there, depending on how much you can gather within a few days or more, they might let you in.

How did I come about all this information you might ask?, well, for the past few months I have been trying my hand at various roleplay sims. Recently I gave gor another shot, after a day or two I landed myself in a group! with the Ghost Outlaws as a “kajira” also known as a slave. No, it is nothing like the slavery of old which most of us have learned about in school and such. Nor does it have too many similiarities to bdsm as most of secondlife assumes. It’s quite the contrary which I have discovered over the past couple of weeks.

Anyway, all this aside, my favorite pasttime was-you guessed it! “dressing up!!“. Kajirae’s are required to dress appealingly or perhaps raunchy. I will be keeping things a little polite for this post. Enjoy!.

Strong gorean as I am, I am not a man used to being directed by a woman, much less dressed by one. It was only Mia’s promise of undying obedience as my chattel that convinced me. It was then, with grave misgivings, that I approached the first store. The sign above the door read .:Gspot:. .. a strange word I had never heard of. Once Mia explained it to me I understood why.. what a laughable idea, it could only have come from earth.

Despite this ridiculous name, I was pleased to find they stocked outfits that fitted my frankly superhuman girth and width. I have always found the placement of freshly stuffed Kurii about the body not only accentuates my natural musk, but also makes me irresistible to the fairer sex. Women love fresh meat.

The particular outfit chosen by Mia had two such Kurii draped symmetrically over my shoulders. This pleases me. Not only does it widen my naturally broad shoulders but also reminds me of the Kurii-pad craze that swept Gor not three decades ago. I could not have predicted the nostalgia I felt for the violence of my early youth. Retro Gor Mia called it.

Mia, no doubt high on the excitement of bending me to her will, next winced at my barefoot feet and exclaimed ‘I know the place!’
What I saw next I could not have predicted, my eyes nearly bled from the pain. In a place called +grasp+ I witnessed sights that no proud man should witness.

I speak of Men dressed as Women. The most unnaturally dressed freaks I have ever seen. ‘Ignore them, they are hipsters’ Mia pleaded. Had I not promised on my honour to follow her instructions on this trip, I would have felled them where they stood.

Again amongst this heathen rabble I was surprised to find goods of any value. Mia was true to her word and we found a pair of the finest leather boots, trimmed with dead animal fur, just how I like them.

When I thought we had finally completed this humiliating exercise, Mia  had reserved one final indignity. ‘Hair trim to finish you off.’ Not the sort of finishing off I had been hoping for. Despite my explanation that I had washed and groomed only 12 months previously, Mia insisted.

Anyone who has known me for the amount of time I have been in sl know I love roleplay. I tend to dibble about a bit but, when it all comes down to it the gorean scene seems a lot more active than most places I have been.

My friend Wylah, who is also a fellow roleplayer whom I am actually rl friends with started up a unique blog about her roleplay experiences in Gor (which she had introduced me to). I wanted to share this blog with you all for shits and giggles.

Most people have a misconstrued concept of what Gor is all about, sure there’s gory and the endless array of kilted avatars but, there’s also fun. Check out Wylah’s blog. Oh and just so you know, she’s actually French so be lenient on her grammar, we are not all perfect anyway.
